Overnight is $42 West, and $36 East Coast.

As I have said, my supplier ( Sound Solutions AM, official US Distributor) intends to fully support the QTEK products. They are committed to making the support channel a painless experience, there is nothing wrong with replacing a defective device, or having one repaired, you are entitled to it, we all are.
Many feel that i-mate is lacking in that department. I think there is an opportunity for QTEK to greatly increase their presence here in the US as i-mate has done this past year.
My supplier is in the US and will replace DOA's from here, and will ship ther units to QTEK in Europe for warranty service.

Here are some guidelines for DOA units:

Note: Dead On Arrival (DOA)
>Defined as new QTEK handset discovered faulty on activation.
>Returned within 14 days from point of sale.
>Include original packing, documentation and accessories as new
>IMEI on box must match IMEI on returned unit.
>Water damage label must be in tact.
>Handset must be in 'as new' condition
>Less than 15 minutes talktime on the unit.
>Must be within 3 months of manufacture.
>Proof of purchase must be included with the item.

>>It is critical to state if the unit is DOA (you require a new product) or RMA (you require a warranty repair). Note: RMA claims need only send the defective item/s and a point of sale invoice.

>Memory Cards

1) Please fill in the failure report and e-mail to tmarsh@soundsolutionsam.com to obtain service center job numbers.
2) Once complete attach a copy of the print out of this file and send it along with the faulty item/s.
3) Please include a proof of purchase or validate the unit is within 12 months warranty.
4) Repair will not be initiated till relevant payment is received for out of warranty (OOW) and non warranty repairs.
5) Customer will be liable for insurance and freight charges to send the faulty units to repair.
6) Customer will be liable for any loss or damage caused in the transit from customer's site to the repair site.
7) Units with accidental damage or misuse, (i.e. damage to LCD, dropped on floor, liquid damage etc) will be chargeable.

They are working on a website to be able to track the units repair status online.

I know the 15 minutes is tight, I am trying to get that expanded to be more realistic, but for now these are the guidelines as stipulated by QTEK.

I will also be getting more detailed information with regards to firmware upgrades.
